ABI says the new Windermere is ‘where country living and modern life meet’. It’s ‘abundant with homely touches that nod to the rural idyll just beyond its walls’, says the manufacturer. You can instantly picture yourself on the shores of the Lake District’s most famous and most popular lake (the largest lake in England). Now meld that idea with all of the modern comforts you’d expect in a holiday home anywhere you choose to site it, and you are getting some idea about the character of the new Windermere.

The Windermere has luxury at its heart. This 12ft-wide home has freestanding domestic-style furniture, a beautifully appointed shaker-style kitchen, and two-bedroom models have en suite showers and also walk-in wardrobes.
The Windermere’s two layout options are intriguingly different. One has three bedrooms – that’s a double, on one side of the home, plus two identical twin rooms at the rear of the home.
The other option has a twin room on one side, and a very spacious double room spanning the width of the home. Behind it is a toilet-and-shower en suite, plus a walk-in wardrobe-dressing room. The bed is a king-size.
The exterior of the Windermere is finished in matt Champagne-coloured aluminium cladding.
Carpet and underlay are fitted throughout. The lounge colour palette is soft greys for the furniture and dusky pinks for the curtains; the combination of these shades injects warmth and style.
An electric fire and scatter cushions come as standard.
The kitchen is enormous, across the entire width of the home, with the freestanding dining table and chairs in the centre of this space. The position of this furniture, and also one of the two lounge settees, together create a clear demarcation between the lounge and the dining-kitchen. The kitchen has an integrated fridge-freezer, an externally-vented cooker hood extractor, 40mm worktops and soft-close hinges on doors and drawers.
Throughout the Windermere, stylish light fittings with low energy bulbs are a feature, plus voiles.

TV points are in the master bedroom and one of the twin rooms. USB sockets are in all bedrooms. The main bedroom has a lift-up bed with storage beneath. All beds come with duvet covers and pillowcases, bed runners and scatter cushions.
Bathrooms have extractor fans, shaver sockets and hooks for dressing-gowns or towels.
