California Country Park, in a beautiful woodland setting conveniently close to Wokingham, has a magnificent new – and very large – show home. It’s a newly-sited Stately-Albion Kensington, 50ft x 22ft, available immediately, at £349,950, and its setting is spectacular. It’s on a generous plot with block-paving and landscaped gardens. In addition, illumination will be installed on the trunk of a tree on the edge of the plot, to light the exterior of the home.

Inside, the equipment level is high, and includes an overhead sound system and a wine cooler.

California Country Park is at Finchinhampstead, just four miles from the historic market town of Wokingham, which is noted for its lovely character architecture and wide streets. This area is a sought-after place to live, which makes California Country Park a very desirable park home location.

Mature trees line avenues of homes. It’s a well established park, neatly-kept, with wide roadways, tall pine trees and some of the homes overlooking areas that really do look like village greens. Homes in a wide variety of styles give this estate a varied character. It’s a gated park, with a coded barrier.

The park gets its name from California Country Park, which borders the park home estate. It’s a short walk from the park to a large lake and woodland area; there’s a café on the shore of the lake. Living here would be a delight; walking in the woodland is definitely an enticement to come here.

The park has a woodland character in-keeping with its forest surroundings – and the address, Nine Mile Ride, gives a strong clue that this place has a prestigious history. It’s close to the famous road named Nine Mile Ride, which has its roots in the royal hunting history of this region. It was built for King George III to provide access to the rides built for Queen Anne, en route to hunting expeditions in Windsor Forest. The wooded area along Nine Mile Ride is part of Swinley Forest.
