Carnaby’s latest holiday home is the Rosedale, a completely new model launched for 2019. It will be available in three layouts, two of them with two bedrooms and one with three bedrooms.

All three are 12 feet wide. The two-bedroom models are offered in a choice of lengths, 36 feet and 39 feet. The three-bedroom Rosedale is 39 feet long.

These new homes have a modern, country-chic feel.

The kitchen has a cottage character. Appliances, all branded, are upgraded compared with previous models. There are lots of useful standard design features including under-counter positioning of a separate fridge and freezer, a combination-microwave – and attention to detail including a spice rack and a wine rack.

The kitchen floor is an interesting brick-mosaic tile effect kitchen floor, adhering to the country-cottage theme.

The Rosedale’s Combi boiler is system is a domestic quality and is made by Vaillant.

Practicalities are taken care of by a coat stand and a shoe rack with a ledge complete with a cushion for use when you’re lacing up boots.

The dining area is spacious, and flows from the kitchen in a wide area in the centre of the home.

The lounge is well separated from the kitchen and dining areas, by a unit, on one side, providing cabinets at the base and display areas above.

There’s plenty of lounge seating – a long sofa along one wall plus a sumptuous armchair. The sofa curves slightly towards the front of the home – and there’s a socket tucked away behind the sofa in the ideal place for a standard lamp.

Rosedale’s colour palette is soft taupe-grey, teamed with curtains that create a light and airy look, with a purple-hue floral pattern based on roses on white fabric; again, this underlines the cottagey theme of the Rosedale’s décor.

The furniture units are in a natural Nebraska Oak finish.

The lounge colour palette flows through to the bedrooms, where the rose pattern dresses the windows and appears on cushions and bed runners, too.
