Park and holiday home buying advice: buying with part-exchange

728b491a-3bbd-4340-80bf-5cdb637ef333

When Nick and Tracie Venn visited friends at RoyaleLife’s Wickham Court development near Fareham in Hampshire, they decided to move from their home in Portchester and join them.

After initially trying to sell their house using an estate agent, they were recommended by RoyaleLife to use part-exchange specialists Quickmove Properties.

The Venns explain how Quickmove purchased their existing home to make the whole move quick and easy…

“We had an interested buyer for our home but when the buyer presented some problems, RoyaleLife suggested using Home Exchange. It’s a faster way to move but the big appeal was there were no fees to pay.

“We had a mortgage outstanding, so with retirement looming in five or six years’ time, it was the ideal way to purchase our forever home. It enabled us to get rid of the mortgage, put a few bob in the bank and have a better lifestyle.

“Quickmove was so quick – we could have moved in two weeks but we extended to three weeks to give us the chance to get ready and pack! We’ve moved a few times over the years, but this was the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

“We love our RoyaleLife home at Wickham Court. As soon as we visited we fell in love with the place. It’s a great lifestyle and a lovely location.”

When you buy with part exchange, you don’t need to vacate your existing property on completion day. Quickmove grants a licence to occupy for two further weeks so you can move out at your leisure.
