Editors pick: the top holiday home of September 2020 - Willerby Avonmore
The Editor of Park and Holiday Home Inspiration magazine has chosen the Avonmore holiday home from Willerby as the top holiday home of September 2020.
The next 12 months is surely the year of the Great British break, with a new emphasis on holidays in our own country. Buying a holiday home has never been more appealing. Families and couples are realigning their leisure plans for the rest of this year and years to come, setting a budget and taking the plunge.
And Willerby’s Avonmore hits the spot, with a home priced to be affordable, in a choice of two interior colours, walnut or oak – and a choice of six sizes, ranging from 32ft by 12ft to 40ft by 14ft, which is Willerby’s biggest-ever mid-range unit. Two of the sizes have three bedrooms; these are the 38ft by 12ft and 40ft by 14ft.
Whichever size you choose, the Avonmore offers lots of seating – two settees, an armchair and a stool-seat that you can place anywhere. The amount of seating makes the Avonmore ideal for when you want to invite friends and relations.
The kitchen is a classic U-shape, ergonomically designed with the cooking facilities on one side, the sink in the centre and plenty of surface space on all three sides, so making meals for many would be easy. Oh, and plenty of storage space, too.
There’s a third reason why the Avonmore makes it to Editor’s Pick status. Willerby markets the Avonmore as mid-range but its look and feel gives you the impression that it’s higher up the price chain. Reasons include the super-luxury, deep pile grey carpet and the comfort of the seating.
Willerby’s Hull showground is now open again, by appointment, if you want to take a look for yourself.
