Editor’s pick: the top holiday home of August 2020 – Pathfinder Ocean View
The Editor of Park and Holiday Home Inspiration magazine has named Pathfinder’s Ocean View holiday home as the magazine's top holiday home of June 2020.
It seems that Pathfinder’s designers created the Ocean View holiday home with the specific intention of selling the dream of leisure time by the sea. And they succeeded in no small measure. That’s why, at a time when we all need to dream of lovely leisure locations, the Editor of Park and Holiday Home Inspiration magazine chose Ocean View as the Editor’s Pick of holiday homes – and gave it this month’s top spot.
The Ocean View serves to sow the seed of holiday home magic: a special place in which to spend special times in a special location. Whether you find your perfect place with an ocean view or not, whether you go for Pathfinder’s fabulous Ocean View lodge or not, this unit, made by the Devon specialist manufacturer of holiday homes, makes a big, bold statement that buying a holiday home is a cracking idea to which we can all aspire when times return to normality.
The Ocean View is, in essence, designed to emulate the idea of the traditional beach hut – and then takes the concept a long way forward.
The lounge flows into the kitchen and on, around the corner of the kitchen, to the bedroom, in a cosy recess. Yes, it’s open plan, but each area has its own segment and individuality.
You can have your Ocean View with a separate bedroom if you wish; various sizes and layouts are available, ranging from 20ft 8in by 10ft to 29ft by 11ft 9in. Small it may be, but the Ocean View is built to full residential standards, so is well insulated to keep you cosy at the times of the year when you’ll appreciate the log burner-effect stove in the lounge.
All the facilities you need are here. The shower room is a luxury pampering environment complete with a power shower. The kitchen is equipped with an integrated oven-grill and hob.
And the décor? As you’d expect, the Ocean View has a beachside vibe, combining pastel shades with a suggestion of traditional deckchair stripes for the blinds and cushions.
Park and Holiday Home Inspiration magazine is published to help owners and buyers of both park and holiday homes to get the very best from their investment.
