Truma gets motorhomers into hot water
Truma has announced a new hot water upgrade system that allows extra long showers in your motorhome. The system is a combination of the Truma Combi and the Truma 14-litre Electric boiler. It provides more hot water and enables campers to shower up to three times longer as when the Truma Combi is used alone. Martin Fitzpatrick, Managing Director of Truma UK, explained, “It is the perfect solution for anyone who enjoys long showers or for families where several persons want to shower one after another. At a flow rate of 3.5-litres per minute it is possible to shower non-stop for 15 minutes.”
The hot water upgrade system is simple to use and can be controlled centrally from the control panel Truma CP Plus or via the Truma iNet System. If the water mode “Hot” or “Boost” is selected, a switchbox automatically activates the Boiler. The Combi and Boiler then heat up the water simultaneously. If the Truma iNet System is installed, the warm water can be conveniently controlled via App - close to the vehicle in Bluetooth mode and remotely via SMS.
The upgrade water system is easy to retrofit and suitable for all gas and diesel Combi models with CP plus. Ideally, the Truma Electric boiler should be mounted close to the Combi as the two units need be connected to each other via a hose line. Moreover, the switchbox needs to be installed and the Electric boiler connected to the TIN-bus - and that’s it. At 3kg, the Truma Electric boiler is very lightweight and fits underneath any seating area or bed locker.
The new product will be launched in spring 2016.
