Thetford launches improved campervan fridge

The Thetford T1090 is a mains/battery-powered fridge designed specifically for campervans and the latest incarnation sees a series of improvements. The slimline fridge is shaped so it can be fitted at a higher level against the sloped sides of many van conversions. As such it came with a low door handle for ergonomic opening. Now, the new model can be ordered with a high level handle to enable it to be fitted lower, too. 

The second generation model also has a different freezer design with a full isolated compartment and its own evaporator. This means the freezer temperature stays low when the main fridge door is opened, making the freezer perform better and with 14% lower energy usage.
