Swift launch all new luxury motorhome for 2019
For the 2019 season, Swift is relaunching the luxury Kon-tiki motorhome range with a whole new look and never before seen features.
The most striking new feature is the Stargazer window at the rear. This rooflight curves down into a vertically glazed panel, giving unparalleled levels of light in the back. Another new features is Swift Vision, with two side cameras and two rear cameras, to enhance side and rear visibility as well as for manoeuvring.
There are two new tag-axle models joining three layouts carried over from last years range. The 650 has an island be while the 675 offers twin single beds above a garage. Four models come with the low-profile front as standard, but you can specify the High-line with overcab bed, while the fifth (the tag-axle twin lounge 649) is only available in High-line form.
In other news, the Swift Rio range of narrow coachbuilts has been dropped with three layouts from last years models being carried over into a new Escape Compact range, expected to be more affordable. Still 2.25m wide and under six metres long, the lift up tailgate has gone, but you get features common to 2019 Swift models such as a new VIN Chip security scheme, a pre-installed Tracker (you’ll need to subscribe to the monitoring package) and a 10-year manufacturer backed warranty.
