Vantage Motorhomes Ltd has announced an agreement for the sale of the company from the current Managing Director and founder Scot Naylor to Michael Hardicker, the Managing Director of Signature Automotive Ltd, MasterCraft Boats UK and Signature Motorhomes and Leisure Ltd.

Vantage Motorhomes was formed by Scot Naylor in 2007 and has become the largest independent van conversion specialist in the UK. Vantage has received a number of awards from the most prestigious and critical publications in the industry, and produces the high quality Whole European Type Approved van conversion motorhomes.

Michael Hardicker became interested in Vantage having seen the brand and the quality of the product on display at the NEC shows. Michael became further enthusiastic about the company having visited the factory facility in Leeds and seeing the skilled, dedicated and focused workforce building a premium quality product. Michael commented, “I approached Scot as I felt that the Vantage brand would complement our current business activities. We recognised that Vantage had a fantastic reputation and are the market leader in producing van conversion motorhomes. We are delighted to be taking ownership of the company and very much look forward to working with the established Vantage team.”

Michael’s current business activities include being a European distributor of MasterCraft Boats, a prestige performance powerboat company that manufacturers the world's best ski, wakeboard and luxury performance powerboats. Additionally, Signature Motorhomes and Leisure specialises in the sale of new two, three and four berth motorhomes from the German manufacturer Globecar and Signature Vehicle Contracts, a vehicle contract hire and leasing business.   

Scot Naylor will remain associated with the company and will assume a role to support product development. He will focus and support the company’s future innovations and model developments. Over the years, Scot and his partner Jane have enjoyed many holidays away camping and enjoying the comforts of a Vantage Motorhome and can now look forward to enjoying some more quality time away touring Europe.
