Premier League footballer’s motorhome holiday
Footballers might be more accustomed to luxurious holidays in far-flung destinations such as Dubai, but one Premier League star was happy to take his family on a motorhome trip.
Burnley midfielder Jack Cork, his wife Freya, and young sons Arlo and Eden stayed in a motorhome during a visit to the Bramham International Horse Trials in Wetherby, North Yorkshire in early June.
Jack and Freya own a number of horses, one of which – Shadow Kingsman, part owned with international event rider Ben Hobday – was competing. Shadow Kingsman won the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse category for four year old horses, therefore qualifying for the Burghley Horse Trials in September.
The Corks collected a four-berth 2019 Hymer Exsis i588 from Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld in Staffordshire. The model has a drop down double bed, and rear beds, which were used by Arlo and Eden.
“We got all the outdoor gear in the garage as well as the boys’ bikes, and there was still plenty of room in there for more stuff,” said Jack.
“Now the boys have been camping, I don’t think they’re interested in flying so it looks like we’ll be going on more motorhome adventures in the future.”
