A new motorhome stopover scheme has been established in Portugal, offering camping at 48 farms and vineyards across the country.

Although it sounds like France Passion, this Portugal EasyCamp scheme differs in two respects: you can book into the stopover and it’s not an annual membership. Instead, you book the stopover and buy a ‘welcome package’ of goods at the time of booking and you are invited to stay overnight for free.

Simply take a look at the map on the website, choose where you want to stay and book online. Each listing provides information on the location, the cost of the welcome pack, how many space are available and whether there are any extra activities that can be booked.

Some even offer inspiration on what else to visit in the area. Prices range from €10 to €33.
