New low-profiles feature in Rimor’s Seal motorhome range
Italian motorhome manufacturer, Rimor, which has five dealers in England and one each in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, has revealed several new models for the 2021 season.
First among the new arrivals are two new low-profile models in the Seal range of coachbuilts, all of which are based on the 120bhp, 3,500kg Fiat Ducato.
The Seal 67 Plus is a 6.45m-long low-profile with an extra-large (2m x 1.37m) drop-down bed.
The bed is above a front lounge area with twin side-facing sofas and a central table, which convert into a second double bed, making this a four-berth model.
The second model to join the Seal range is the longer (7.43m) Seal 99 Plus (pictured), which has twin rear single beds above a large (1.05m x 0.75m) garage capable of carrying a scooter or other heavy gear.
Forward of the rear beds, the layout mimics that of the 67 Plus, including a drop-down bed above the lounge (although in this layout the shower cubicle is on the offside).
The arrival of these two new models takes the Seal range to eight low-profile models ranging in length from 6.5m to 7.5m and offering two, four and six-berth layouts including twin single bed, French bed, island bed and drop-down bed layouts.
There are also six overcab models in the Seal range ranging in length from 7m to 7.5m and offering French bed, transverse double bed, twin single bed and bunk bed layouts, all, of course, also with a double bed in the overcab area.
Also new from the Italian manufacturer for the 2021 season is an addition to its Horus campervan range.
The new Horus 95 joins the Horus 38 and 45 campervans and, for the first time, gives Rimor buyers the chance to have twin single beds in a campervan.
These twin single beds are a highlight feature and can be raised at their heads (sleepers face the rear doors) to provide chaise longue-style daytime lounging or the chance to sit up in bed and read or enjoy a morning cup of tea.
The Italian manufacturer has also confirmed it will continue with the Evo range of four-berth coachbuilts.
The ford-based Evo line-up has six models, including a British-friendly rear lounge layout, as well as island bed, twin rear single beds and transverse double bed layouts.
The range-topping 140bhp 3,500kg Fiat Ducato-based Super Brig line-up also continues in 2021.
This range features six models, including five with garages large enough for a scooter (or other heavy gear), three that feature drop-down double beds over the lounge and two that feature rear twin single bed layouts.
