Fiat reveals pricing and spec of all-electric Ducato
Fiat’s first all-electric Ducato has arrived in the UK and prices and specifications have now been confirmed.
The Ducato is the mainstay of the motorhome industry and is the base vehicle underpinning almost 70% of all coachbuilt motorhomes, as well as providing the base for a significant number of campervans.
The new E-Ducato is priced from £47,675 excluding VAT but including the Government’s £8,000 Plug-in Van Grant.
Its range – depending the battery option specified – is between 99 and 192 miles and the batteries take a little over two hours to fully charge using the 47kWh battery with a 22kW AC fast-charger. With the 50kW DC rapid-charger both the 47kWh and the 79kWh batteries can be charged to 80% capacity in 30 minutes.
It will come with a five-year warranty, five-year roadside assistance and five-year servicing plan, while the battery is covered by a 10-year warranty.
Standard trim level provides 5-inch touchscreen with DAB Radio and Bluetooth, automatic climate control, tablet holder, USB charging port, electric heated mirrors, twin-leaf rear suspension, lane departure warning system, advanced emergency braking, Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), High Beam Recognition (HBR), Rain and Dusk Sensors (RDS), Electronic stability control (ESC) and driver's airbag.
A higher spec eTecnico version is also available, which gets a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and sat-nav, rear parking camera with reverse parking sensors, blind spot and rear cross path detection, embroidered headrests, front fog lights, heated electrically folding door mirrors, LED daytime running lights, leather steering wheel and chrome air vent surrounds.
