Eura Mobil puts Contura on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Eura Mobil, which is sold in the UK by dealer, Geoff Cox Leisure, is now building its Contura low-profile range, which was first introduced for the 2020 season, on the 4,500kg front-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter coupled to an Al-Ko chassis.
There are four layouts available on the new Mercedes-based coachbuilt – the C 716 EB, C 766 EB and C766 EF (all with twin rear single beds) and the C 766 QB (island bed).
The Mercedes Contura is available with optional Obsidian Black exterior paint finish and carbon-look exterior graphics.
It comes with multiple optional driver assistance systems as standard, as well as the voice-controlled MBUX multimedia system and heated captain’s cab seats with electric height adjustment.
Access between the cab and the lounge has also been widened and heightened and all get the two-part opening Starlight Dome panoramic glass roof, which is offered exclusively by Eura Mobil.
The lounges – depending on the layout – have two longitudinal sofas or classic L-shaped seating.
In the kitchen, there is an ergonomically curved worktop with a large refrigerator and swivelling spring-arm tap, plus a glass display cabinet in the wall unit.
The washroom features a backlit shower that is embellished with a floral motif, while the bedrooms have new back wall panels.
Depending on the layout, the bedrooms offer either two single beds up to 2m in length (Contura 716 EB, 766 EB, 766 EF), or an island bed (Contura 766 QB).
Under the beds, there is a garage storage area up to 1.24m in height.
All models get a double floor heated by Alde’s hot water heating system and which conceal all of the technical installations to ensure frost protection.
Neat optional touches include a waste water tank draining function with monitor control and camera guidance that can be activated at the press of a button from the driver’s seat.
Eura Mobil Activa One news
In other Eura Mobil news, the Activa One now gets two Isofix child seat fixings as standard on all but the HS layouts.
The Activa One also gets a new layout – the 650 HS – a rear lounge layout with twin single beds above the cab, which also sit above two large wardrobes just behind the cab seats.
This means the cab does not form part of the living area once on site.
In addition, Eura Mobil has also launched the new 720 EB and EF (both with rear twin single beds) and 720 QB (rear island bed) models in the Profila T/RS low-profile ranges and the sub-7m 660 EB in the Integra Line A-class range.
The new 660 EB offers twin rear single beds – both 2m long – which sit above a huge garage and a new longitudinal kitchen with extendable work surface.
It is available with a flatscreen TV up to 32in in size, which can be installed in the TV rack in front of the washroom wall.
There is a drop-down double bed above the cab, too.
For 2021, Eura Mobil has dropped the Integra Contura I 700 EB and HB models.
