Dreamer develops rear lounge model for the UK
Dreamer has seen its sales nearly double in the last season and a UK dealer (Highbridge) take the company’s Export Dealer of the Year trophy. But the 2020 range sees perhaps more change than ever before, including a model developed with the assistance of British dealers and designed to suit UK tastes (though it will be sold throughout Europe).
The new Living Van is a Fiat Ducato van conversion which adopts a very Anglicised floorplan with a rear U-shaped lounge and a half-dinette up front to provide a total of four travel seats.
The new model (part of the more upmarket Select range) is based on the taller H3 version of the Ducato (in L4, 6.36m-long form) in order to have enough headroom for a drop-down longitudinal double bed over the lounge. It’s a fully adult-sized bed, so the newcomer is a true four-berth.
Another key advantage over its rivals can be found in the middle of the motorhome, where Dreamer has incorporated its patented Modul’Space system with a wardrobe that sits in the same space as the shower until the latter is required.
It’s a completely separate shower, too, with the toilet room opposite and a folding partition door to close off the back of the vehicle.
