Donate old motorhomes to charity
Have your rusty wreck collected for free
If you have a motorhome or campervan that has, shall we say, reached the end of its useful life and is now doing little more than housing spiders and slowly turning to rust in the garden then why not donate it to the Give a Car campaign, run by the British Skin Foundation. All you have to do is go to the campaign website, or call 020 7736 4242 to arrange a convenient collection date and time within 3-10 days. The motorhome or camper (not caravans) will be picked up for free and sent to either auction or scrap, depending on the condition. A receipt for the donation will be sent within six weeks of the donation. If the motorhome is still worth a few quid you can also choose to receive a cheque for half of the price it commands at auction, with the other half going to the charity.
By choosing to donate your motorhome to the British Skin Foundation, you will be helping the only UK charity dedicated to raising funds for skin disease and skin cancer research. There are eight million people living with a skin disease in the UK, some are manageable and others are severe enough to kill.
