Details of new Roller Team Pegaso 740 A-class revealed

The new Roller Team A-class motorhome will be available through Auto-Trail in the UK, and will be officially launched in at the Glasgow Caravan & Motorhome Show on 4 February.

The Pegaso 740 uses a Fiat Ducato 2.3-litre 130bhp MultiJet engine, with an option for the 150bhp version. The GVW is 3,500kg with an option for 3,650kg. Driving aids ESP and Traction+ come as standard and the vehicle measures 7.38m long by 2.32m wide. There’s a 95Ah AGM leisure battery, electrically operated and heated mirrors, cab air-con, cruise control, TomTom sat nav, colour reversing camera and 16in alloys. Up on the roof you get a 120W solar panel while in the kitchen there’s a three burner, gas hob, an oven and grill. The three-way fridge/freezer has a large 150-litre capacity. Water capacity is 120-litre for fresh and 110-litres for waste. For heating you get the 6000W combined gas heating with CP Plus.

There are four travel seats and four berths thanks to the rear bed and a drop down bed over the cab. On the back there’s also a bike rack with space for four bicycles with a maximum weight of 75kg. The Pegaso 740 A-class will have an on the road price of £57,990. If you want the Fiat Comfort-Matic auto gearbox add £1,800 and for a 148bhp manual engine upgrade add £900.
