Laika motorhomes and campervans: 2026 essential guide
A premium brand, famed for its Dolce Vita Italian design, Laika heads into the 2026 season with some colourful new campervans and special edition motorhomes that offer exceptional value, while its flagship Kreos model gets a Mercedes chassis as an alternative to the Fiat Ducato.
Laika motorhomes and campervans
From its state-of-the-art factory in Tuscany, Laika manufactures premium campervans and motorhomes under the Kosmo, Ecovip and Kreos names. Part of the Erwin Hymer Group, it has been represented in the UK since the late 1980s.

Laika Kosmo Supremo
Premium Italian manufacturer, Laika, has been collaborating with an automotive design studio, GFG Style (it had a hand in the design of the 1981 Delorean and the 1980 Fiat Panda among others), with some of its ranges already receiving the benefit – such as the flagship Kreos.
Now it’s the turn of the Kosmo campervan range and what a refreshing change to see some colour in a sea of grey. Instead of the standard muted Fiat colours, Kosmo Supremos offer one of three vibrant schemes – pairing bold exteriors to interiors inspired by luxury cars.
Verde Mugello has a dark green body and 18in bronze wheels with cognac-coloured interior eco leather seats.
Arancio Sicilia has an orange exterior, black alloys and a contrasting white interior. The final scheme, Azzurro Capri, combines a sky blue body (also with black alloy wheels) with orange eco leather seating.
There’s just one layout, a 6m model with a transverse double bed. It gets the 180hp engine and automatic gearbox as standard along with oodles of cab kit.
The Pioneer infotainment unit has phone connectivity (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto) and shows the rear camera display, while the dashboard is the TFT digital version and you get adaptive cruise control.
The entire vehicle is insulated using a combination of superior XPS and alu eco fibre which banishes on-road furniture squeaks as well as having better insulation properties.
That’s backed up with the Truma Combi 6 D heating and hot water system. The furniture is a combination of light ‘stone’ grey and dark ‘forest’ green. Other features such as soft-close drawers, optional Skyview cab rooflight and two windows in the washroom will set this vehicle apart.
Key features
- Sporty distinctive exterior
- Modern interiors
- High spec with 180hp engine

Laika Ecovip Titanio
The Ecovip range is getting a special edition called Titanio. Like in the Kosmo Supremo models, the new grey graphics have been designed to accentuate the vehicle profile, framing the windows at the same time.
Four layouts are available as both an A-class (H) or a low-profile (L), all with single beds in lengths from 6.59m to 7.40m. Interiors are a combination of Noce Opèra frames with contrasting white doors.
This is complemented by a cream eco leather, which can be customised with different fabrics or even upgraded to full leather. Kitchens have a three-burner hob set into a scratch-resistant Fenix worktop.
The motorhome has been designed around a dimmable LED lighting system, with illumination for wardrobes or sliding compartments, too.
The My Laika SCU system is also standard, allowing you to monitor and control certain aspects of the motorhome from an app.
Key features
- Double floor for year-round motorhoming
- App control
- Thoughtfully designed lighting

Laika Kreos L 5009 MB
Italian design firm, GFG Style, had a big hand in the look of the Kreos when it was launched four years ago and that distinctive interior and exterior remains at the heart of this model.
Initially launched on Fiat, this flagship model is now also available with the three-pointed star on the grille.
You get all the benefits of the Kreos models, but with the comfort of the Mercedes engine and drivetrain; that’s the 170hp engine and eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
However, new for this year is an audio system option available across all Kreos models. The Jehnert kit has been designed to offer the best-quality sound, even when driving.
It’s simple to control the settings for the subwoofer, as well as switching between radio, TV and Bluetooth models.
It’s also wired into the leisure battery system, so it can be used when on the campsite.
Key features
- Mercedes driving comfort
- Distinctive interior style
- Highly customisable including new Jehnert sound system option
