Bailey builds Britain's first drop-down bed motorhome
Bailey of Bristol is to launch a drop-down bed low-profile motorhome – a first for a British manufacturer
The new Approach Autograph 765 is a six-berth low-line end-lounge, with a drop down double bed that sits lengthways above a Pullman dinette.
Part of a five-model range, the Approach Autograph 765 is based on a 2.2-litre HDi Peugeot Boxer, with a 130bhp Euro V engine and six-speed manual gearbox. The Autograph 765 is 7.45m long, 2.43m wide and 2.79m high. These dimensions, combined with a lightweight ultra-low profile Al-Ko chassis, result in a maximum interior headroom of 2.11m (6ft 11in).
Standard equipment on the 765, and across the entire Approach Autograph range, includes cab seat twin armrests, dual front airbags, cab air conditioning and cruise control.

The full Bailey Approach Autograph range consists of the:
- 625 – two berth end-lounge
- 740 – four-berth, end-bed fixed double
- 745 – four-berth end-bed fixed double with belted travel seats
- 750 – four-berth end-bed with twin fixed singles, with belted travel seats and a rear storage garage
- 765 – Britain’s first drop-down bed motorhome, also features a rear storage garage.
