Adria reveals 2019 range of motorhomes and campervans
The big news for Adria this year is mainly focussed on the Twin van conversions but there is a new lounge layout in the coachbuilt motorhome range too.
Let’s start with Twin, however. There are now three different specification levels: Axess, Plus and Supreme. The latter comes with a new skylight over the cab, which stretches almost the whole width and makes a massive difference to light levels in the lounge area. Some washrooms now have a swinging wall with sink attached to cover over the toilet and create a shower area.
And there are new interior fabrics, while the Plus and Supreme models get a new interior styling. The Twin Axess is just one model, the 600SP, and this carries over from last year, with a Malaga scheme. The Plus models get a lighter wood grain (Sandy White), while Supreme has a dark grey and white furniture scheme (Onyx).
There are three Supreme models, the 600 SPB (transverse double), the 640 SLB with lengthways singles and the new 640 SGX with a large rear bed that can be raised to the roof to increase storage space below. The Twin Plus has two 6.36m long models, the 640 SLB with lengthways singles and the 640 SPX with a transverse double and a separate shower.
Kitchens get a new compressor fridge, while Webasto heating is standard on the new Supreme 640 SGX but the rest of the range gets Truma heating.
On the coachbuilt side, the new lounge features twin inward-facing sofas that convert to travel seats with an island bed (DC) or twin singles (DL) at the rear. These appear on models in the Matrix, Coral and Sonic ranges. There’s a 7.52m Sonic Supreme I 710 DC, the 7.50m Matrix 670 DC (in Plus and Supreme versions), the similar 7.50m Coral 670 DC and the Coral 670 DL (also in Plus and Supreme).
There is a fixed table, which folds in half to allow access from cab to lounge, while the Sonic and Matrix models get an extra side window.
For both Coral and Matrix, the Axess specification comes in a new pack just for the UK. The UK Ltd Edition applies two layouts (670 SL and SC) in the Coral Axess and Matrix Axess ranges. Each of the four models costs £59,995. For this you get the Drivers Pack, factory fitted awning, alloy wheels, Fiat’s Highline radio/navigation system, reversing camera, bike rack pre-installation, leather steering wheel and gearshift, Seitz windows and the Tempo interior.
There’s a new rear light on Matrix and Coral models; Supreme has LED lights, a black bezel and LED brake lights, while the Plus has LED channel lights and the Axess rear lights are halogen. Coral XL overcabs also get the new rear LED light design as do the slimline Compact models. These two ranges see no other big changes apart from the fact that the Coral XL is only available in Plus spec with Truma heating (there is no option of Alde this year). There is also new factory fitted options across the board, including awning, bike rack fixings, solar panels and roof mounted air-con units.
