Motorhome accessory review: Outwell Albatross M Coolbag

d6cbd2cf-fe3f-482e-999b-b36263d3f0e7

When tasked with saying something amusing about a coolbag, and a grey one at that, we drew a blank. This product is about as bland as product reviews get.

It looks like a camera bag, but has a foil liner, hidden by what can only be described as a oblong-ish bucket – to give structure and protect food from being bashed.

The top has a snugly fitting lid that has a Velcro tab to keep it closed. There’s a zipped front pocket, that you may struggle to fit a corkscrew in as it’s that thin. It does have a padded cushion on the strap so you can carry it while trekking from the car park to the beach with your sarnies and drinks, not forgetting that freezer block to keep the food cool.

Oh, and when you are not using it, the removable plastic inner can double as a bucket! This year’s model comes with a blue trim priced at a not so insignificant £37.
