Walking boots are very subjective things, but we found these Astronomy boots from high street retailer, Mountain Warehouse, to be tough, lightweight and comfortable.

Stated as a mid-height boot, they are very supportive around the ankle area and sizes are predictable – our size-four reviewer stated that the size five was the perfect size when accompanied with a pair of thick socks.

The list price is £89.99, but as we went to print these are £24.99 on the Mountain Warehouse website (in sizes four to seven), which is a real steal… plus MMM subscribers get an extra 15% discount at this company’s shops or online.
