All British motorhomers and campervanners are in need of some protection from this six-month spell of mostly wet weather known as the British winter.

A great coat then? Or two coats that can then be used together?

Well, the Berghaus’ Fellmaster jacket and Prism Polartec fleece do just that.

The jacket is waterproof and breathable and has an adjustable fixed hood. It’s available in sizes 8-18 for women and S to XXL for men.

It costs £165 but, as we write, the price is £132 on the Berghaus website.

The fleece is fairly traditional, has two zipped pockets and is made from 50% recycled fabric.

Sizes are 8-20 for women, while for men sizes range from XS to XXXL.

The fleece costs £55 but, again, we found it cheaper on Berghaus’ own website where it is discounted to £44.
