Motorhome accessory review: Barbecue Toolbox

b281e7c9-fb38-4852-aab9-03bc54d6fc4e

It’s amazing, isn’t it? The compromises you’ll make or the prices you’ll pay when an accessory or product is made to look like something else entirely. Yes, we want glasses that look like beer bottles or something like this, a toolbox that’s actually a BBQ.

Carry it around using the red metal handles, then simply (with a little practice), rotate these round to use as legs come cooking time. There’s an airflow valve below, and a removable metal tray for the charcoal. One of the swing-out lids can double as a storage tray for utensils while the other one works as a warming rack. The grill area measures 36cm by 17cm (enough for a couple of sausages and burgers).

As the entire thing is metal, you will have to leave it all to cool down before you attempt to pack it up or clean it – stash it under the motorhome overnight…

Priced at £49.95, this is a neat device and one that’s relatively easy to find a space for in any size of motorhome (20cm by 40.5cm by 22cm).
