Carado A 132 motorhome

A new product for 2021, the A 132 is Carado’s first overcab motorhome that measures under six metres in length. This model is actually just 5.95m long, meaning it is a compact coachbuilt that still offers a layout to travel and sleep up to four people.

The overcab bed can be pushed up to create more headroom below if needed in the cab area using a new design, which saves weight, therefore improving the payload, too. This feature is used across the whole overcab range.

It has a transverse double bed in the rear, reached by an extendable step that is integrated in the wardrobe. This neat design touch not only creates a more spacious feel but provides additional storage space.

In the front there is a half-dinette lounge (just swivel the cab seats for all four occupants to dine and relax) and, moving towards the rear through the motorhome, you will find the well-equipped central kitchen and a washroom on the opposite side.

It has plenty of storage space with overhead lockers, a wardrobe and a garage.

The new A 132 is based on the 2.3-litre, 120bhp Fiat Ducato, with standard features including daytime running lights, ABS, EBD, hill holder and much more.

More powerful engines are available along with Fiat’s new nine-speed auto’ gearbox.

There is also the Chassis Comfort Pack (16in alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and leather steering wheel among other things), as well as various living area options to customise the A132 to your family’s needs, including insulated waste water tanks and floor heating for winter camping or a second leisure battery and prewiring for a solar panel if your adventures are more off grid.

Carado V 339 motorhome

Carado’s V 339 is a new model for 2021 with an island bed layout, but not just any island bed, an adjustable queen-sized double.

This luxurious bed is almost 2m long when fully extended and yet allows more floor space when pushed back for daytime mode.

As well as providing storage space, the wardrobe in the bedroom is half-height so allows visibility through the motorhome.

To provide privacy there is a room divider, which separates the sleeping and living areas. The all-in-one washroom, with swing-wall shower, is positioned centrally with the fully equipped kitchen on the opposite side.

There is a half-dinette lounge in the front with rotating cab seats, creating more seating options.

The living area has a lovely spacious feel about it, it is bright and inviting with the lighting scheme and open view and has overhead lockers for more packing space.

It has a folding table, which can be put away, and two parallel sofas that create two more travel seats and space for six people to sit.

Another motorhome with a rear island bed layout, this low-profile also has split en suite facilities with the shower on the offside and toilet and sink on the nearside.

There are two wardrobes either side of the large island bed and plenty more storage including underneath the double bed, overhead lockers and a compartment within the right-hand side bench seat, which is perfect to keep shoes.

The kitchen is positioned beside the seating area and provides all of the essentials including a three-burner hob, oven/grill, 167-litre fridge/29-litre freezer, towel holder and window, which, along with the LED lighting, creates an even brighter feel.
