Essential Guide to 2020 Motorhomes - Etrusco motorhomes

1ec83dfc-c147-4c86-94dd-8ceacb22b421

Looking at only its second year in the UK, Erwin Hymer Group’s affordable Etrusco brand continues to strengthen and expand its product line-up for the 2020 season.

Etrusco T 740O QBC motorhome

The popular T 7400 QBC low-profile exemplifies the brand with a large lounge offering the currently en vogue face-to-face lounge. This space creates a brilliant daytime lounging area, while it can also convert into two extra rear travel seats when needed. This also creates a much more open feel with the integrated kitchen, which features a new easy-to-clean splashback behind the hob. UK models will also be fitted with an oven and grill as standard.

The washroom sits across the aisle with a swivel cassette toilet and basin on one side and a shower cubicle on the other; the toilet compartment door swings over to close off the rear, while a second sliding panel gives this area privacy from the bedroom.

The island bed then sits at the very back of the motorhome above a garage. You can opt to make this bed height-adjustable via the push of a button, which makes the bed higher but enhances the available storage space in the garage.

Also, like all the other models in the range, the T 7400 QBC can be ordered as the Type X Edition. When selecting this option, the high-level lockers adopt white fronts and the seating comes in smart grey Galicia, while the exterior has new individual accents.

Standard upholstery in the Etrusco range comes in a choice of colours: Piemonte (white) and Andorra (brown), giving the interior a clean new look for 2020.

A new model for Etrusco is available in both A-class (I 6900 SB) and low-profile (T6900 SB). It offers rear single bed above a large garage. At under 7m in length, this motorhome offers an exceptional feeling of interior space despite its compact dimensions.

You get a small side seat next to the door, L-shaped kitchen opposite a large fridge and an all-in-one washroom with a swing wall to create a separate shower. The singles can be made into one large double, while the drop-down bed above the cab (2.00m by 1.50m in size) makes this a true four-berth.

If you want the comfort of fixed single beds in an even more compact package than the new I 6900 SB featured, take a look at Etrusco’s ‘V’ line-up, in particular this 6600 SB. Narrower than the traditional coachbuilts in the line-up, these models can open up a whole new world of travel adventures. This model is only 6.65m long too, making it incredibly versatile as well as being a great value for money option.
