Anatom V2 Vorlich light hiking boots review
Now summer’s over it’s time to pack those Crocs and sandals away and swap your campsite footwear for a good boot. OK, so they may be a bit heavy for nipping to the shops, but you never know when that newsagent that’s just half-a-mile from the campsite involves a cross-country climb.
The Anatom V2 Vorlich boot is described as a ‘light hiking boot’. We tested the men’s version in drab navy, but there is a women’s version in a much more appealing teal colour. Men’s are available in sizes 7-12 while women’s sizes come in 4-8.
These boots come with a waterproof, breathable membrane, but we would recommend waterproofing the outer too, to keep the suede in tip-top condition. The comfort levels are good but our reviewer commented that they felt a little tight and you may want to go for the next size up. We’d always recommend trying them on a trek around a good shoe shop when buying walking boots, anyway.
For a smidge under £100 (£99.95), this is a really good value pair of boots that should be fine for all but the toughest of conditions.
