Holiday among the palm trees

cb16f3e5-a310-4910-87e2-f4045e7dd489

Palm trees and exotic birdlife are unusual features of The Foxhunter Park in Monkton, Kent.

Mustn’t forget either the new half-million-pound Le Club nor the comprehensive range of entertainment and activities on offer.

The surprises at Foxhunter don’t end there either because as well as the 340 plots for holiday homes within its 39 acres there is also a small residential estate with 27 park homes.

The jewel in the crown at Foxhunter, however, is Willow Brook.

A luxury leisure lodge development which formally opened only this year, it is spread across nine acres with plots for 43 holiday homes.

Each has a large area of decking, parking alongside for two cars, satellite tv and a 12-month season (unlike the rest of Foxhunter which is closed for six weeks annually).

There are several new and previously-owned holiday homes available for sale as well as a number of vacant plots at Foxhunter.

Prices of new caravans start at £47,630 with pre-owned models from £14,994.

On Willow Brook prices range from £99,000 up to £225,000.

There were no homes or vacant plots available on the residential park-home estate.

Pitch fees are: caravan £4,140 per annum; leisure lodge £4,250 (single unit), £4,495 (twin); park home from £150.05 (single) per calendar month, from £154.77 (twin) pcm.

The licence for caravans last 20 years; lodges 30-50 years. Open dates for the holiday park: March 1 to January 15 except for Willow Brook which is open all year.
