Swift Conqueror Grande 645 Caravan Review

Conqueror makes a return to the Swift portfolio and is stacked with elements that are sure to grab attention.

The Conqueror range, noted for its luxury status, was a prominent component of the Swift offering for many years. It's been reintroduced, for 2026, with Alde heating. There are three standard-width Conqueror layouts and four Grande models that are 2.46m wide.

Luxury status return

We chose the side island bed, rear shower room, twin-axle 645 as our First Look example of the range. Its luxury status is obvious the moment you step inside.

Impressive kitchen proportions

The maximum-width Conqueror Grande 645's kitchen surface is arguably the first thing to impress you. It's generous in proportion, with a curved L-shape and a large, hinged extension. Three pull-out shelves and three drawers, in the main kitchen area, plus lockers above and below the slimline fridge/freezer ensure storage capacity is generous. There's a built-in extractor fan directly above the hob and the microwave is integrated into the top cabinet run.

Above the kitchen splashback is a small, practical feature: a short rail with three hooks for utensils. More practicality arrives with two small square shelves set into the splashback.

Sophisticated lounge fabrics

Lounge ambience is top-notch in terms of fabrics. Seating fabric is in a cream weave that feels as if it's designed to be durable. Each side window is flanked by panels upholstered in smart dark brown. The front windows have plain ivory satiny fabric curtains. There are four cushions; two are in dark brown geometric-pattern fabric, and two are in fawn with a raised pattern in pale cream bouclé that gives them a tactile, cosy feel.

Spacious bedroom suite

The bedroom is sophisticated, spacious and simply lovely. There's an L-shaped dressing table with two lower cabinets and a mirrored cabinet plus two shelves. Shelving runs from here all of the way along the bedroom offside wall. The wardrobes have a curved shape to allow for extra bed width. (The bed is 1.42m wide and 1.9m long.) Each wardrobe has cabinets beneath, with a hinge-up section that opens into a small storage area above the top drawer; clever.

The bedhead fabric is similar to the bouclé material on two of the cushions, this time in dark brown, in shaped panels to follow the curves of the wardrobes on each side of the bed. And the 645 is one of only a few caravans to have three wardrobes; the third one is on the nearside forward edge of the bedroom, alongside the fridge.

Ultra-stylish shower room

A white sliding door with two vertical style lines in brushed steel opens from the bedroom to the ultra-stylish shower room, at the rear. A tall towel warmer, part of the Alde heating system, is on the rear wall. Two good-size shelves and a cabinet under the washbasin, plus another on the offside wall, take care of necessities. And there's a facility in the shower compartment that's both practical and super-stylish. It's a shampoo shelf, recessed and bordered by dark grey marble-effect.

The 2026 Swift Conqueror Grande 645 successfully reclaims its luxury status with a sophisticated interior, featuring a generous L-shaped kitchen and high-end practicality. 

Its smart storage, stylish rear shower room and Alde heating make the 2.46m-wide model a premier choice for comfortable, long-term touring.
