Full Review
The twin-axle Lusso II is Coachman’s best-selling caravan. This model, with a double bed, was initially launched in 2021 and has received updates and lounge layout changes along the years. Now, a new Lusso II has been unveiled for 2026, and takes this model to a higher level of luxury, with awesome fabrics and finishes that combine to create true wow factor.
Among the new features are reverse-curve top lockers, acoustic wall panelling, and marble-effect splashbacks, in an eye-catching pattern of browns and creams, in the kitchen and the shower room. An air-conditioning unit is now standard, along with an automatic levelling system.
There is one feature of the new Lusso II that you can’t see, though. And it’s a key element. The payload has gone up from 160kg for 2025 Lusso IIs to 325kg, That’s because Coachman has introduced a higher-rated chassis, giving an MTPLM of 2,200kg.
Lounge
The lounge is L-shaped – but with a difference. There’s a large stool, the same height as the seating, so it’s designed to augment seating when the dining table is in place. This means that four could sit around the table if you place the stool on the nearside. Equally, it can be moved anywhere, for feet-up reclining.
On the nearside is a media wall, with a cabinet, connection points and a surface plenty big enough for a large television.
The brown-and-black ridged acoustic wall panelling, that makes a major contribution to the overall décor, is on each side of the lounge.
Upholstery is suede-effect; plain, with stitched backrest and front seating area detail. Corner lights are tiny but bright spotlights, set into neat oval frames edged with pale copper-effect rims.
Four of the six cushions are in fabrics that shimmer in the light, on pale gold and darker gold bases. The other two are in a wool-type weave. The whole effect is gorgeously luxurious.
Kitchen
The amount of kitchen surface is huge, in an L-shape and with an extension. The 159-litre fridge is opposite the kitchen.
Bedroom
The bedroom is high up among the most luxurious in any caravan in terms of detail finish.
The voile that dresses the bedroom window is of a more obscure fabric than in previous models and adds to the luxury look. The bedhead is padded and panelled in the same fabric as the seating, with a diamond-effect stitching bordered by plain sections. Lights mounted on the wall on each side of the bed are arched and directionally adjustable. The four top lockers are reverse-curved.
The dressing table surface stretches from the mirror above the double-doored cabinet all the way along to meet the wardrobe. Lighting is concealed under the slim wooden pelmet. Acoustic panelling runs horizontally along the whole of this wall.
The wardrobe has two doors, one facing the bed and the other angled towards the kitchen area. With three drawers beneath, the clothes storage space is huge.
As you’d expect, the shower room is super-spacious. The marble-effect panelling used for the splashback is also on all three sides of the shower cubicle.
