Xplore announces brand-new styles for 2024

Part of the German-based Erwin Hymer Group, Xplore is adding both interior and exterior upgrades to its adventure range for 2024

Inside the new Sonora, upholstery is bright and eye-catching, matching the new external graphics set. There’s a new Dometic Midi Heki roof window, too. With four models in the range, each with an Al-Ko chassis and Whale eight-litre on-board rapid heater, there are two to five-berth models available.

From £19,299

Front lounge

The Xplore series stands out for its innovative, forward-thinking and lightweight design. As one of the more budget-friendly options, it is perfect for adventure seekers. Notable features include creative upholstery and graphics.

Despite its compact 3.8m internal length, this smallest Xplore model ingeniously accommodates four berths, a washroom, and living and kitchen areas. Its L-shaped lounge easily converts into a double bed in the front, while a bunk bed unit on the offside rear of the caravan provides the other two berths, making it perfect for a family of four. The bunk, positioned above the side dinette, conveniently folds up during the day, creating extra space.

Also at the back of the caravan, next to the side dinette/bunk unit, is the washroom that has everything you need, including a shower, a round washbasin and a toilet, all neatly packed together.

In the living area there is a cosy feel with a corner sofa and point for the TV. There is a free-standing table that can be brought out if needed for eating, games or working, and this has the option to be stored away in an allocated section, too.

Next to the lounge, the kitchen has a Thetford Triplex oven with three-burner gas hob, oven and grill and a fridge, which sits on the opposite side to the counters. This is a well-lit area with energy-saving LED downlights, chrome fittings, a cutlery tray, removable drainer, storage cupboards and a glass lid covering the sink, creating extra worktop space.

Despite its compact size, this model’s clever design optimises storage without feeling cramped. There are smart space-saving solutions, including placing a wardrobe above the fridge and a folding triangular table in the lounge. Additionally, seat bases offer hidden storage, and the bunk features opening slat bases for easy access and storage of larger items.

This efficient caravan also boasts LED awning and reading lights, awning rails, Grade III thermal insulation, a rooflight with a blind and separate flyscreen – all at an exceptional price point.

Front lounge

Within this generously proportioned, lightweight two-berth Xplore, a spacious front lounge beckons with its parallel settees that transform into a comfortable double bed at night. Conveniently placed TV points ensure enjoyable viewing, while a free-standing table and a removable chest of drawers with a pull-out table extension provide ample space to unwind.

The kitchen at the rear of this model is fully equipped. It includes a Thetford oven, hob, grill, fridge and stylish chrome taps and fittings, ensuring all your culinary needs are met.

This model offers abundant storage options, including overhead lockers, drawers, cupboards and concealed positive locking mechanisms. Illuminating the space are LED and energy-efficient lights, along with awning and reading lights, ensuring a well-lit environment throughout.

A fully equipped washroom, located on the offside, features a fully lined shower cubicle, a vanity storage unit and a mirror.

The Xplore 585 model offers a versatile layout with five berths, making it ideal for family adventures or for a group of friends. With two separate lounges, there’s ample space for family activities on a rainy day.

At the rear, a snug L-shaped sofa serves as a cosy spot for watching films, a kids’ den, or a double (or single) bed at night. The front lounge can be used for dining, entertaining, relaxation, or as an additional double bed. The final berth is ingeniously created by a bunk that lowers above the rear bed. This caravan adapts to your needs.

Both lounges are separated by the fully equipped washroom and kitchen areas being in the centre of the 585. They cater for everything a family needs while away, and boast a sleek and modern feel.

Handy features include a new rooflight, an expansive gas locker compartment, flyscreens, room dividers and double-glazed windows with night ventilation options.
