First UK caravan with slide-out side
The first British-made caravan with a slide-out side has been launched. It’s called the Inos, it sleeps five, rides on twin axles, is 7.9m long and 2.3m wide.
The slide-out section, akin to those on American motorhomes, adds a metre to the width of the living area. The chassis is made by BPW, the same company as that used for Elddis and Buccaneer caravans.
The Inos, which made its first appearance at the Boat and Caravan Show at the NEC in February, is equipped the BPW’s IDC Intelligent Drive control stability system.
This new caravan is the first venture into touring caravans for the Fifth Wheel Company, based in North Wales. Price is £36,000. The warranty is 10 years.
