Bailey Unveils Pegasus GT70 Range
Bailey has updated its Pegasus caravan range with additional equipment.
The company called the six models GT70, to celebrate 70 years of manufacturing. Bailey unveiled them to the public at the NEC Motorhome and Caravan Show.
Additional equipment that distinguishes the GT70 models from the previous Pegasus includes AL-KO's ATC stability control system, a 100-watt solar panel and Truma's iNet system that enables you to control the heating from an app. GT70s also have automotive-style graphite-colour alloy wheels and wheel locks are supplied as standard.
The Models
Pegasus Ancona

Pegasus Anconas have evolved since they first appeared several years ago, with different layouts, some sleeping five, some six. The five-berth single axle in the GT70 range has its shower room spanning the full width of the rear; it has bunks on the offside and a two-seater dining area opposite which transforms to a single bed. This area is divisible from the rest of the caravan by a pleated partition.
Kitchen surface area is generous, with a curved L-shape plus a large hinged extension. A Dometic slim-line tall fridge-freezer stands opposite the kitchen.
The MTPLM is1450kg; the price is £19,799.
Pegasus Brindisi

The Brindisi is a single-axle transverse bed model with its shower room across the rear.
This model has the same kitchen and fridge-freezer as the Ancona. The MTPLM is 1450 kg; the price is £19,799.
Pegasus Verona

The Pegasus Verona has the classic double bed layout with the bed on the nearside and the shower room spanning the width of the caravan behind it. Nice touches in the Verona and the Brindisi are two coat hooks by the door and thee bright LED clusters shining down on the kitchen surface.
The fridge and the kitchen configuration are the same as that in the Ancona and Brindisi. The MTPM is 1421 kg; the price is £19,799.
Pegasus Genoa

Bailey's Pegasus Genoa is a two-berth in the range, with a full-width rear shower room, this model now has a new kitchen and central area layout. Dometic's tall slim-line fridge freezer stands at the rear of the offside kitchen with the microwave above it. An extension surface hinges up alongside the sink. Below is a large drawer fitted for cutlery and with good space for utensils alongside it, and a two-shelf cabinet beneath.
Opposite, the dresser, slightly lower than the kitchen, gives you plenty of surface space and an additional kitchen cabinet. A lower cabinet, between here and the lounge, gives you two drawers and a drop-down-hatch cabinet. This lower surface is designed for your TV; connections are here. The MTPLM is 1265 kg; the price is £18,799.
Pegasus Rimini

Also, with the tall fridge-freezer and the same kitchen as the Ancona, Brindisi and Verona is the Rimini, the twin-bed option. At the rear is the Rimini's shower room. Its MTPLM is 1431 kg; the price is £19,799.
Pegasus Palermo

A twin-axle family caravan, the Pegasus Palermo has bunks and a dining area opposite. It's a stretched version of the Ancona, with the shower room across the rear. A large dresser is on the nearside. It has the same kitchen configuration t the Ancona, but this time with the larger, 190-litre fridge-freezer aft of the kitchen, with the microwave above it. The MTPLM is 1639 kg; the price is £21,599.
