Coolest Caravan 2026

Adria Action

What constitutes a cool caravan, you may wonder. Certainly a departure from traditional shapes. Certainly a head-turning image. A caravan that stands out from the crowd by reason of its looks.

And with a good measure of practicality to ensure its wide appeal. There is one caravan that ticks all of those boxes. It’s not new. And that’s just the point.

It was launched in 2005, originally as a run of just 50 units, made to celebrate Adria’s fortieth year of manufacture, and quickly attained icon status for its curvy bodylines that ensured it looked so dramatically different from every other caravan on the market.

Now, as Adria celebrates 60 years of making caravans, our judges found there was nothing to beat this awesome little caravan both in terms of style and the fact that so much practicality is packed into its mere 4m body length.

The lounge – given the compact overall size of the caravan – is awesomely large.

Seating that extends all of the way around the caravan ensures this is a model to go for if you like to entertain. With the free-standing table in place in the centre, there’s definitely enough space for several people to gather for feasting. A coffee table at the centre-front can augment table space or can be folded against the wall.

The kitchen, at the rear, gives you all you need: a two-burner hob, a combined oven/grill and enough space for food prep. Kitchen storage is great – literally: three wide, deep drawers, a cabinet under the oven and small recessed shelves behind the sink. The fridge is on top of a cabinet – a brilliant but simple space-saving idea.

This cabinet hides an ingenuous design that enables you to use it as a three-shelf unit, or you can remove the top two shelves and use it as a wardrobe, with just enough hanging depth for a jacket.

A metal rail slides forward so that you can put hangers on and take them off easily. The shower/toilet room contains a startling piece of ingenuity. It’s a basin that lives folded upwards, against the wall, with a mirror that completely disguises it.

When it’s lowered – that’s a smooth action owing to its robust construction – it gives you a large washbasin. The water exits via a small plug hole on a rear corner. So, a superb little caravan packed with practicality and awesome style – and definitely cool.
