What’s new from Eriba for 2020?

The Eriba caravan brand is synonymous with compact, stylish caravans which are easy to tow, comfortable to live in and stand out from the crowd. For 2020, Eriba has a special edition to its range, as well as two modern classics to consider.

Touring 60 Edition 542

With 60 years of experience in building Eriba caravans for 2020 the German company has a 60th anniversary edition of one of the most recognisable caravans on the market.

The special Eriba Touring 60 Edition 542 model has distinctive, two-colour paintwork. Aircraft designs inspired the caravan’s designers, which you can see in the aerodynamic look and feel of the model.

On the lower half is a smooth metal finish, called Crystal Silver with Carrara White on the top half. Along with the colour-coordinated, bi-colour rims the Touring 60th Edition will turn heads as soon as you arrive at a campsite.

The Eriba Touring 60th Edition is as distinctive and modern inside as you would expect from this icon of caravanning style. The bright styling within the caravan comes from the combination of its ‘Grand Oak’ furniture style and white, slick, high-gloss lockers doors.

To contrast its high-gloss lockers, the fabric covering the seats and bedding is dark and subtle, yet warm and sophisticated. Dark laminated surfaces add to the refined feel of the Touring 60 Edition 542.

Although compact the Eriba has plentiful storage under the seats, bed and in the lockers. The well-equipped kitchen, big comfortable bed, plus detailing inside and outside make this Edition a cosy caravan for super touring holidays.

The 60th Edition includes a mosquito net roller door, a 30-litre water tank, alloy rims, an exterior locker door on the right, the Grand Oak furniture styling and more. And, with its low profile when the pop-up roof is down and compact size, the Touring 60th Edition 542 is easy to tow.

If you’re looking for a caravan that will stand the test of time and is ideal for a small family, this is the caravan for you. When you look at this Touring 60th Edition 542, it’s easy to see why it’s been such a popular tourer for all these years and will continue to encourage new caravanners to embrace the outside life!

Could this be one of the prettiest caravans on the campsite? Without question, yes!

Touring 320

The Eriba Touring 320 is 45cm shorter than most other models in the range but its modest measurements don’t compromise its style in any way — the 320’s compact size belies its thoughtful design. This model is perfect for couples who prefer a bigger living space in their caravan than the space in other ERIBA models with fixed beds.

The flexible layout here is a big plus. The rear lounge is ideal for relaxing in during the day, with comfortable seating for up to four people and a large dining table for when it’s time to gather round at meal times. At night, when it’s time to retire, simply make the rear lounge seats up into a large double bed.

There’s a surprising amount of storage here, too. Use the lockers under the seats to stow away your bulkier items, and hang shirts, coats, dresses and trousers in the full-length wardrobe. Plus, there’s more storage in the overhead lockers too, should you need it.

The kitchen is at the front of the 320. It’s fitted with a two-burner gas hob — a three-burner version is available as an option — a large sink with a handy cover and drawers which include a cutlery insert to keep all your utensils in order.

The worktop surface is a good size, but if you need even more preparation space, the kitchen in the Touring 320 can be extended by the glass lid of the cooker. When cooking and washing up, you benefit from the view through the double windows at the front and there is also easy access to the door.

The washroom has a height-adjustable mirror, towel rail and a Thetford bench toilet. A useful feature is the tensioning straps on the shelf, which help to keep smaller utensils and toiletries secure.

Towing the 320 is easy and safe. As standard, the model comes with an Al-Ko hitch system to prevent snaking and keep the caravan stable at all times.

The 320 is great for a couple who enjoy touring and want to have something that’s lightweight, easy to tow and looks good, too.

Ocean Drive & Rockabilly

As if the Eriba Touring caravan isn’t distinctive enough, the Ocean Drive and Rockabilly editions in the range push caravan styling to new heights. These editions have the same two-colour exterior paintwork with white on top. Their lower halves come with either bright blue or bright red lower panels, making them standout from the crowd.

Inside, the inspiration for the colour-coordinated style comes from 1950s American diner, but with a contemporary twist. These compact caravans come with the Grand Oak furniture as standard.

Yet, the Ocean Drive and Rockabilly models have the same substance you’d expect from Eriba, as well as their strong style. They come with extra equipment and features to make life as comfortable as possible on tour.

Take a look at the Eriba Ocean Drive and Rockabilly models if you’re looking for eye-catching, easy to-tow caravan, and you don’t want to compromise on comfort. They are perfect for anyone looking for the feel of a campervan but who needs the convenience of a car on holiday.
