Glossop Caravans – dealer specials

758440c9-5874-47ce-a58c-05606cf323dc

Glossop Caravans were an established dealer having first arrived on the scene in 1976.

Since then, the company has grown enormously to become one of the biggest dealerships in the country servicing the needs of generations of caravanners.

This reputation has resulted in Glossop working with Coachman, Elddis and Swift to produce individual, exclusive editions for their customers.

Here are some of the latest offerings

Festival by Coachman

Based on Coachman’s Vision, the Festival range comes with extra equipment and exclusive fabrics.

The additional spec includes pleated blinds with flyscreens, an exterior locker with a mains socket, a 90-watt solar panel, an Omnivent extractor fan, a key fob-operated alarm system, a full- sized Heki rooflight and exclusive fabrics. The Festival pack amounts in value to £3351. There are six layouts in the Festival range: two have island beds, one has twin beds, one has an offside dining area converting to bunk beds, there’s a two berth, plus a twin-axle five-berth.

Standard Coachman Visions range in price from £19,670 for the 450 to £23,485 for the 630. Buyers of the smallest Festival, the 450, pay just £1420 more than the cost of the standard Vision version and get £3351-worth of extras. Buyers of the largest Festival, the 630, pay only £1205 more than the price of the standard Vision 630 to get the £3351 extras package.

Chatsworth by Elddis

If you know the Elddis Avanté range, you'll recognise the Chatsworth models. The Chatsworth Pack amounts in value to £4395. Extra equipment compared with standard Avantés includes Aquaclean upholstery protection, a gas barbecue point, pleated blinds, backlit washroom mirror, white GRP side panels including silver side skirts and spats, an outlet for the blown-air heating system to warm your awning, an alarm system with key-fob control, heavy-duty corner steadies with ‘big feet’ and exclusive upholstery with two scatter cushions.

There are eight models in the range, including a two-berth, three six-berths and three eight-feet-wide models. The standard Elddis Avanté 462 costs £18,744. Buyers of the Chatsworth version of this model pay £19,990, so, for the £1246 extra, they get £4395 worth of extras.

In standard Avanté form, the three eight-feet-wide models cost £23,894. Buyers of Chatsworth versions pay £25,990, so they get £4395 worth of extras for just £2096.

Celebration by Swift

The Celebration Pack amounts in value to £3654. Extra equipment distinguishes Celebrations from the Swift Challengers, on which they base the range. Included are heavy-duty corner steadies, a USB point, dimmable lights, a key-fob-operated alarm system, a Truma Aquasource Waterline to connect directly to your pitch’s water supply (no more Aquarolling!), an extractor fan, TV bracket and connections in an exterior locker, so that you can watch TV in your awning, and exclusive fabrics.

Six layouts are in the Celebration range. Three are on single axles, two with island beds and a six-berth. Three are twin-axle models with fixed beds.

The price of the standard Swift Challenger 560, for example, is £22,720. The Celebration version is £24,390. For the £1670 difference, buyers get the £3654 extra kit package.

Also included in the pack are a sunroof, a microwave oven, a radio-CD player, a hitch-head stabiliser and alloy wheels.

All 10 Sprite layouts are in the Celebrate range. These include six twin-axle models – five six-berths and a four-berth with an island bed. Two of the single-axle models have island beds.

Two price examples: the standard Sprite Alpine 4 costs £17,565. The Celebrate version is £18,590. For the difference, £1025, buyers get £3690 worth of extras. All prices include delivery.
