Campsite of the month: Ulwell Holiday Park

You'll find this campsite in the Purbeck Hills, a pebble's throw from the Jurassic Coast. Its proximity to Swanage is one of the biggest draws for those who stay here.

About the campsite
The traditional seaside town can be reached on foot, by bus (outside the site) or is a short drive away. Why not go crabbing, have an ice cream or sample the fish and chips? If the weather allows, maybe even take a dip!
The site's bar and restaurant, The Village Inn has recently undergone some major renovations and, during the colder months, you'll be fighting other campers to sit next to the log burner. The interior is inspired by the local area - with plenty of quirky nautical features.

If you can't leave home without the dog (or, indeed, dogs), you don't need to. They are welcome on site and in the bar. It goes without saying that there are some epic walks to be had here with - or without - a dog.
Staying put is tempting, too, especially if you've got a great view! The shop sells local produce and the site is proud to support businesses in the area. Expect to be tempted by some sweet snacks!
And if you've left anything at home, chances are they have what you're looking for here.
From Swanage, you can take a seat on the beautiful steam train to Corfe Castle and enjoy the countryside as it rolls by the window.
