Campsite location

Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock are all close to this top-class campsite, set in 37 acres, with views over the Peak District - it's stunning and, as you can imagine, attracts plenty of walkers and cyclists (the Tissington Trail is just 100m away).

About the campsite

This is an all-weather site, so it doesn't matter if you visit in summer or winter as there's plenty to do.

In the summer, head into Ashbourne and enjoy soaking up the sun in a beer garden or explore Dovedale. In the colder months, there's everything you need on site, including underfloor-heated toilet buildings, if you don't fancy using your on-board facilities.

Fancy a bite to eat? The café is open every day from 10am-4pm and the country-style pub is open on Fridays and Saturdays. Both are dog-friendly, so no need to leave the pooch behind at home.

Glamping is also available if you're meeting with friends who don't own a caravan. Why not enjoy a pint with them in the bar and convince them to buy one!
