This beautiful campsite is immaculately kept and perfectly located for enjoying a local delicacy!

Fishing fans, here’s one for you! The adults-only site, Eye Kettleby Lakes, has nine coarse and two specimen carp fishing lakes, so you’ll definitely want to pack your tackle!

The site can be found just outside Melton Mowbray – the home of the traditional pork pie – and has a pretty location in the rolling Leicestershire countryside. While you can’t fish for your supper, you can visit the Clubhouse for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In fact, it’s even open for afternoon tea, where you’ll be treated to a delicious feast of dainty cakes, finger sandwiches, a pot of tea and even a glass of fizz if you’re feeling a bit frivolous!

In peak season, you can expect live music events and there’s also a mobile fish & chip van that visits if you do want your fillet of fish fix!

This is a great site for those who don’t want to take the children and just want to sit back and chill out.
