introduction
Reedham Ferry Caravan Park
A small family-run 61-pitch campsite with 31 16 amp electric pitches, including 11 service pitches with a TV point. Tents are in a separate area at the top of the campsite. The small toilet block is old, but clean, with basic dishwashing and laundry facilities outside under cover. There is an ornamental lake for coarse fishing for a small fee, plus free river fishing. There’s a large barbecue for use by caravanners. Also a slipway for launching your own boat and some moorings available. The ferry is opposite the entrance, while adjacent is an attractive Inn, serving home-cooked food.

Details
This pretty little campsite, set on the riverside, provides the fisherman with plenty of enjoyment, both in the large ornamental lake and on the river, or merely sat at one of the tables outside the adjacent Inn and watching the cruisers, yachts and motor boats meandering up and down – what a peaceful and tranquil scene.
There is the facility to launch and moor your own boat for sailing on the Broads, and enjoy a snack or dinner at the lovely Reedham Ferry Inn next door, which serves local fresh fish.
In fact, the Inn has been awarded the ‘Broads Quality Charter’. Your car can be carried across on the Ferry for an easy drive into the countryside, with Pettits Animal Adventure Park on the doorstep for the children.
Close by are Raveningham Gardens and Thrigby Wildlife Gardens, while a day on the Broads can be enjoyed, either in a hired boat or on a leisurely river cruise. Further afield are the busy seaside towns of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, offering many different shows, amusements and entertainment on wet days.
