Details

Nestling in a hidden valley beneath the Quantock Hills, Home Farm overlooks its own private beach and you are ideally situated for exploring the Brendon Hills and discovering some of Somerset's secrets.

This large, family-run site is well tended, very clean and boasts excellent facilities, including the modern and immaculate toilet block.

The short stepped walk to the private beach (which even has a waterfall) means no driving on busy holiday roads, and with an indoor pool, a well-stocked shop, and nightly entertainment in high season you do not have to leave the park.

There is electric hook-up and 10 hardstandings on tiered levels, with tents allocated a separate area. Facilities include a modern toilet block (with metered showers), a hairdryer and a large accessible/family room. A licensed bar and beer garden is open in the evenings (children admitted) and nightly entertainment and barbecues are available in high season. There's also an adventure playground.

Exmoor and the South West Coast Path start at Minehead, giving the rambler hours of walking through this beautiful part of England. Cyclists are also catered for with many marked trails, and sea fishing and boat trips are on hand in the several seaside towns in the area.

Dunster town is nearby, which is a breathtaking medieval village crammed with history and beauty.
