Details
Braidhaugh Holiday Park is an ideal place to spend lazy days taking in the quiet, rural surroundings; whether relaxing on the campsite, enjoying country walks in the hills, or tackling more vigorous pursuits, like horse riding and water sports.
It is also perfectly located to take advantage of the many golf courses in the vicinity with ranging difficulty. Holiday makers can also fish in the River Earn by purchasing a permit from the Braidhaugh Holiday Park reception. Alternatively you can fish in many of the local lochs and smaller rivers at no extra cost. Alongside these attractions, Braidhaugh Holiday Park provides an ideal base for exploring a range of other local attractions, stunning scenery and local history. The beautiful countryside surrounding the park offers many country walks in all directions.
The touring park has level hardstanding pitches, many of which have a grass area alongside. Each touring pitch has an electric hook-up point and most also have independent water and grey water drainage points. The toilet block is fully heated with free power showers, wash area, toilets, shaver points, and hand & hairdryers. There is also a separate disabled toilet/shower room within the main toilet block. Within the building which houses the toilet and wash block, are also the laundry facilities. These facilities include: a large washing machine and tumble dryer, ironing board, iron and sinks for hand/dishwashing.
There's a games room with TV, table tennis, air hockey and board games. For younger children, there's an outdoor play area and the public playground next to the park provides a larger play area and space for ball games. The small shop provides all the basic essentials.
At the northern end of Braidhaugh Holiday Park is a new lodge development. As well as the lodges, Braidhaugh has a number of caravan holiday homes for hire, fully serviced touring pitches and two wigwams. The wigwams offer an insulated and heated alternative for campers. They sleep up to five and each is equipped with a kettle, toaster, mini-fridge, television and microwave. A new addition to this is a serviced wigwam which comes with all the amenities of the basic wigwam but with the added facility of an en-suite shower and toilet and a two-ring cooker.
