Fineshade Wood Campsite

Set on the edge of Fineshade Wood in north Northamptonshire, Fineshade Wood Campsite is a peaceful, back-to-nature site. 

Once part of the royal hunting forest of Rockingham Forest, this woodland hideaway lies conveniently between Stamford and Corby on the A43. The site offers a simple, relaxed experience for tents, caravans, campervans, and motorhomes, with grass electric, hardstanding electric and service pitches available. 

Dogs are welcome, and our friendly wardens are always on hand to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Toilet facilities are available with 24/7 access in the nearby visitor centre, though there are no showers on-site.

On-site facilities are designed to make your stay practical as well as enjoyable. Fresh water points are available, alongside waste and recycling areas. There is a dedicated motorhome service point and chemical waste disposal for convenience.

Fineshade Wood itself is the perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts, with walking and cycling trails suitable for all abilities. Families can explore play areas, activity trails, and a sensory garden, while the nearby visitor centre provides a café and bike hire, perfect for planning a forest adventure.
