Overbrook Caravan Park

Thornton le Dale itself is a short stroll away and boasts excellent amenities including pubs, restaurants, newsagents, tea rooms and a small supermarket. Thornton Beck trickles along the frontage of the houses and under the old railway station, adding to the attractions of this tranquil site. Ducks vie with kingfishers and herons at the entrance security barrier. Overbrook is a multi award-winning park featuring in the Practical Caravan Top 100 for many consecutive years including Regional Winner in 2022. 

Overbrook is ideally situated for visiting the market town of Pickering with its castle and is the home of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway – a very popular attraction for steam enthusiasts both young and old. Also the coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough are easily accessible. The historic cathedral city of York is also within driving distance for a cultural day out. 

The bus services are also excellent from here, for those wishing to walk the moors or not wishing to move their vehicle from its pitch.
