Located in the green and leafy Lee Valley Regional Park, this campsite is in the ideal location for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. River Lee Country Park, which covers 1,000 acres, is also nearby offering various routes and trails through beautiful woodland terrain and is home to an abundance of species, including birds, otters and bats. The historic town of Waltham Abbey is close by, with quirky shops, intriguing eateries and abbey to explore. London is just 40 minutes away, a bus takes you from the campsite to the train station and underground.

The historic town of Waltham Abbey is close to the campsite, offering eateries, shops and the ruins of Waltham Abbey to explore. The busy streets of London are also just forty minutes away (a bus takes you from the campsite to Walthamstow Central tube station), so you can explore and shop to your heart's content!
For those who like a bit more action on their holidays you can even go white water rafting at Lee Valley White Water Centre just four miles away.
The 200-pitch campsite offers excellent facilities with an on-site shop (stocking all the holiday essentials), a safe children’s play area and a toilet and shower block with disabled access. Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead and controlled at all times. The site also has two and four berth camping pods as well as luxury Peaky Pods too.
On-pitch winter storage is available at the site.
When visiting please be aware that although this campsite is outside of the Ultra Low Emission Zone but very close to it, you should check the Transport for London website to ensure your vehicle's compliance if your journey enters the zone. The website is www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers
