Cuckoo’s Corner Campsite

This is a small, adults-only campsite with 16 hardstandings and electric hook-ups. There are also five large tent pitches. There are toilet/shower facilities and a laundry and washing area. The village with a PO/store and fish & chip shop is within half a mile. Fishing nearby on the Lugg and Wye. The television reception is good and free Wi-Fi is available. Based in the centre of Herefordshire, the campsite is ideal for touring the area. Numerous walks in the local countryside and many places to visit. A bus stop is adjacent to the campsite and you can have takeaways delivered to your pitch.

Details

The area offers a great deal of things to do. Located in the centre of Herefordshire, three miles from the city centre, it is an ideal area for touring with a large amount of places to visit within a short drive. There is fishing available on the Rivers Lugg and Wye, (permit essential) or you can spend a day at the Races at Hereford Racecourse close by. The Hereford Cider Trail & Museum is nearby along with Symonds Yat and Hay on Wye.

Walkers are also spoilt for choice, as Queenswood Country Park has free entry and you can spend a warm summer's day walking and picnicking without hordes of people around you. There are 15 circular walks in the area and details are available from reception.

If you're a keen golfer, you can practice your swing at the nearby golf driving range.

If you don't fancy cooking there is a local fish and chip shop or pizza and Chinese meals can be delivered to your pitch. There are several local pubs that serve food and the city of Hereford has lots of choice for eating out and entertainment.

The campsite itself has free hot showers and toilets, with private bathrooms and there's also washing up facililties and the laundry has a washing machine and dryer. In addition to this there is a reading room which includes a DVD lending library.
