Details

Aberafon Campsite adjoins a private beach which is safe for bathing and there is access for boat launching.

There are 15 acres of valley grounds, five acres of which are sheltered, level pitches. The toilet block has showers and shaving points, the site has water points, electric hook-ups and chemical disposal points and a motorhome service point. Laundry and dishwashing facilities are available.
There is also a holiday cottage/bungalow available for rent on site.

The surroundings are altogether delightful, with panoramic views and seascape, which lend themselves to a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation and is ideal for children. There is very good sea and river fishing available in the locality, also excellent mountain and coastal walks.

The site is at the foot of the mountain (Gyrn Goch) 1,500ft, also near the Yr Eifl mountains which sweep majestically down to the sea. The hamlet of Gyrn Goch is on the A499 road and lies 10 miles south of Caernarfon and nine miles north of Pwllheli. It is adjacent to the Llyn Peninsula and the whole of Snowdonia and within easy reach of all of north and mid Wales.
