Birchwood Tourist Park
Birchwood Tourist Park is in an ideal position for exploring Dorset. It is centrally located for visiting Bournemouth, Pool and The Purbecks. The campsite is situated within Wareham Forest giving unrivalled direct access for walking, mountain biking or riding.

Dogs are welcome and they have plenty of space to walk through the forest.
Electric hook-ups are available and fully serviced pitches are provided on either grass or block paved hardstanding with a gravel area for awnings.
The park has free hot showers with a laundrette. Other campsite facilities include a shop and off licence, takeaway and tourist information. To keep children happy there's a play area with paddling pool and sand pit, a large open area for ball games and a games room with pool table. Tennis, badminton, pitch 'n' putt and table tennis is available with either your own equipment or you can hire it if needed.
There is a pub within walking distance of the campsite and within two miles of the campsite there is an indoor heated pool, tennis courts, fishing and golf. A sandy beach is only eight miles away.
Wareham town is a five-minute drive and has a small Sainsburys for any necessities you can't get on site. Attractions that are all about half an hour away include Studland Beach, Corfe Castle, Monkey World, Durdle Door, Lulworth Castle, Swanage and Poole harbour. It is only a short drive to Sandbanks where there are lovely sandy beaches and dogs are allowed on a large section here throughout the year.
