Details

Welcome to Newlands Holiday Park, a 23 acre landscaped park, situated overlooking the pretty unspoilt seaside village of Charmouth, with beautiful countryside views and only a short walk from the world-renowned Jurassic Coast, where the family-friendly beach is popular with fossil hunters, from far and wide.

The park has pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes, as well as having camping pods, which can each sleep up to 4 people and include an adjacent picnic bench and space for a BBQ. Grass and hardstanding pitches are available, many with 10 or 16 amp electricity and mains water, plus drainage for grey waste. All pitches have a designated parking space for one car and have access to modern, clean, underfloor heated toilet and showers blocks, which have laundry and baby changing facilities.

There are also static caravans, lodges, apartments and en-suite rooms available to hire. There is a delicious selection of meals available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus a large range of drinks, including West Country Ales, to enjoy in the Tow Bar and Restaurant, where you can relax in the lounge, conservatory or on the terraced areas, or if you prefer, the menu is available for you to take back to your accommodation and perhaps enjoy al-fresco!

For children there is an indoor soft play area and two outside play sites, plus an indoor and outdoor pool; which has a toddler splash zone! Adults can also enjoy both pools, together with the indoor whirlpool and sauna all located in the leisure centre which has a new mini gym for 2023. There is also a well-stocked shop supplying those essential items, together with takeaway coffee, ice creams, freshly baked croissants/breads and newspapers.

For keen walkers, there is access from the park directly to Stonebarrow Lane, which climbs steeply upwards leading to a coastal hill and sea cliff, from where there are links to the South West Coast Path, continuing on to Golden Cap; the highest cliff on the south coast. You can also join the coast path from Charmouth, where you have a choice of amenities, including two pubs, a cafe, a handful of artisan shops and the Heritage/Fossil Centre, which is situated adjacent to the beach.

On site you can enjoy:

  • Food shop
  • Internet access
  • Clean up to date amenities
  • Launderette
  • Landscaped grounds with countryside views
  • Indoor and outdoor pools
  • Indoor and outdoor play areas
  • Request bus stop directly outside Newlands
  • Leisure centre with mini gym
  • Electric vehicle charging
